Meet the Doctor

Dr. Ken has been helping people live to their fullest since he opened the doors to "Discover Chiropractic” on Meade Street on April 11, 1994. Later on changed the name to Otto Chiropractic, S.C. and moved to our current location at 308 East Northland Ave in 2004. Although there have been changes over the years one thing has remained constant... Our dedication to improving the health and well-being of our patient base through applying the principles of chiropractic and the natural healing model.  As a chiropractor with experience he is committed to promoting health and living a life drug free. Dr. Ken has been a licensed Doctor of Chiropractic since 1994.  He is currently accepting new patients.

I grew up in Appleton doing all the typical kids stuff; swimming at Meade pool, playing baseball at the Little League and Babe Ruth parks in the area. I recall Pop Warner football games at the old Goodland field, and the “Y” was a great hang out for shooting hoops. Sports were a big part of growing up and eventually was the reason I initially sought chiropractic care. While in high school at Appleton East, I injured my neck during football season. I was honestly a bit skeptical, yet it proved to be beneficial. That experience lead to my choosing chiropractic as a career.

The past 25 years in practice has been a great growing opportunity both personally and professionally as well as a great source of fulfillment in helping those interested and motivated to live a simple, healthy lifestyle by maximizing the expression of their innate potential within.

Sports continue to be a fairly big part of my lifestyle. I have finished 2 Ironman length triathlons and have run in a variety of different events over the years but my biggest passion is cycling. Whether riding on the road or through some single track trails, you’ll normally see a big smile on my face. Other interests include almost anything outside. Cross country skiing, hiking, sitting around a campfire telling jokes or out hiking with my Golden Retriever, Tezuka. I also enjoy spending time with my boys: Mitch, Levi and Nick, regardless of what we are doing, normally laughter is following close behind. I have had the pleasure of watching/coaching my kids in their sports over the years and will continue to enjoy watching Nick's basketball career at UW-Oshkosh!

Katie:

I am Fox Cities born and raised and can’t imagine living anywhere that wouldn’t allow me to enjoy all four seasons (although I DO enjoy a tropical escape when the winters get long!). I live in Neenah with my husband, 3 kids, and our dog. More than anything, I love spending time with my family! We are looking forward to spending lots of time at the pool this summer, playing at ALL the parks, and hopefully heading out of town for a couple fun weekend adventures. I also love to cook and enjoy running. I am currently trying to decide which half marathon I want to tackle next. Anyone have a favorite race in the area?? My favorite time of year is the fall because the weather is PERFECT and Packers, of course! My husband and I have enjoyed going to Packers Training Camp and a couple of games together each season for years and now are loving involving our kids in all that fun! I am so thankful to be a part of the Otto Chiropractic team as it allows me to enhance my healthy lifestyle and be an advocate for others’ health and wellness!

Angie:

I was born and raised throughout the Midwest but have called Wisconsin home for the past 20 years. I live with my husband, Darrel, and our 3 beautiful and rambunctious girls: Lilah (7), Ainsley (3) and Charlotte (1). I enjoys the outdoors, whether it is playing in the backyard with the girls, enjoying time up north at the cabin or with my friends riding horseback. I've always had a passion for horses. My favorite time of year is Fall. Between the comfortable temps and the changing leaves it is the perfect time to do most of my camping and horseback riding. My family also enjoys our yearly trip to watch the Brewers and trips back to Eau Claire to visit our extended families.

Being a part of Otto Chiropractic has been truly a joy! To me it is family; between Dr. Ken, the staff and the patients, it is unlike anywhere else you will go for chiropractic care.
